Library Cards
Who can get a card?
Anyone who lives in Massachusetts is eligible to borrow items from the Revere Public Library. Proof of residence and Positive ID are required to receive a Revere Public Library card. Patrons who reside in communities that are members of the NOBLE library system should ideally have an active library card in the city or town in which they live. These cards will be honored at the Revere Public Library or we can make you one of ours. Any patron with fines outstanding or overdue items either at Revere or at any NOBLE library may not take items from the Revere Public Library until such issues have been cleared and their card returned to good standing.
How long can I keep something?
All books and periodicals may be borrowed for a period of 21 days. Videos, CDs and DVDs may be borrowed for 3 days.
I lost my card! What do I do?
Don’t worry, Bring in proper ID and we can issue you a new one. There is a $2 charge to replace a lost library card.

Videos, CDs, and DVDs may not be renewed. All other library items may be renewed twice, for a period of up to 21 days for each renewal. All items must either be renewed in person or via the internet. This may be used to renew your items online on or before the day the are due. We do not renew by telephone.
How much is it if my book is overdue?
The late fine for CDs, DVDs and Videos is $1 per day, per item, up to a maximum of $20 per item. All other late items are fined are $.05 per day, per item. Up to a maximum of $1 per item. If you have late fines outstanding or items overdue, you may not use your card to take other items until all overdues are returned and all fines due paid. If you have fines or overdue items at other NOBLE libraries, it is your responsibility to clear these with the library in question before Revere will allow you to take any item from our collection.
Do you have a book drop?
Yes! We have an after hours book return drop box located near the rear Children’s Library entrance. The book drop is only open when the library is closed. Overdue items should NOT be placed in the after hours drop box as there is an additional fine for doing so.
You must have your library card with you to borrow library materials.
